Left is a Clay Pot Drum or Udu Drum with a goatskin head. You can play it in the traditional clay pot style or you can hold it on your lap and play the goatskin head with both hands while using one arm to cover and uncover the hole as you play producing different sounds. Made in Bali.
Right is a traditional Nigerian style clay pot drum. Play it by slapping the side and by covering part or all of either of its holes - one on the top and one on the side - for a wide range of sounds. When not being played it sits on a ring made of natural plant fibers. All our clay pot drums are cast for consistent sound quality. Made in Bali.
